Description

The project PasseParTourism, funded by the ESF+ 2021-2027 program DGR 1645, was born out of the need to provide tourism practitioners with tools that can help them manage the continuous changes impacting this sector, often preventing its full potential from being exploited. In general, the health crisis due to Covid-19 is continuing to have a serious impact on progress related to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the international crisis due to the war between Russia and Ukraine that has caused severe social and economic fallout worldwide, increasing the fragility of the global system. Although the dual crisis has strengthened the European Union's commitment and action, these measures have been introduced at a critical time for the transition to a more sustainable economy. Proposed activities must therefore generate capacity for long-term vision and offer skills to adapt to change. The PasseParTourism project is based on the firm belief that Destinations, in order not to risk being left out of the new models of tourism development, must adapt the skills of both the operators and entrepreneurs, with particular reference to the main themes of change: sustainability and digital. The aforementioned skills must also be accompanied by an innovative approach and strategic vision such as to anticipate the evolution of the hospitality service in order to ferry the tourist into the future. From this point of view, the project will take on the guise of a certificate of these acquired skills. Likened to a hospitality license, the project will contribute to the training of high-level operators who will know how to welcome the tourist of the future.
