Description

GreenCCircle joins CCIs, HEs and VET providers, research and business with the aim to help CCIs respond effectively to climate change. It will develop a support scheme including:

  • A challenge-based learning path that will encourage CCIs in achieving the EU Green Deal and applying principles of the Circular Economy by leveraging critical thinking, sustainable entrepreneurship and creativity;
  • A green tool intended to measure if and how much CCIs organizations and professionals impact on their environment, and how they can progress towards a greener approach by changing their mindsets and business models, other than to the way they manage operations and deliver their products and performances;
  • A network of Living Labs where CCIs will work hand in hand with researchers, scientists, green designers, managers and impact evaluators to develop and test a proper model for assessing and evaluating environmental impacts of their businesses, so as to reduce their footprint and organize a sustainable business response to climate change.
  • A repository of tools, practices and materials will be created, to help the professional network support and mentor their peers and newcomers to turn into further creative agents for community resilience. GreenCCircle further envisages the creation of a social-oriented entrepreneurial initiative stemming from research within 2 years after the project.

GreenCCircle will drive participants to talk directly and genuinely about the change that the project will bring in their personal and professional lives with regard to:

  • how green and professional attitudes and skills of CCIs have improved or changed throughout the project;
  • how cross-fertilization between CCIs and other industries and science has actually triggered innovation and new mindsets;
  • how the European project has improved capacity for partners to work at EU level, contributing to making them closer to the Erasmus+ Programme and the EU project and values.
