Description

The goal of the research, funded by the Belluno and Treviso Social Economic Observatory, with the support of the board of the Chamber of Commerce Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Treviso and Belluno, is to identify the conditions for a revitalization of inland areas of the provinces of Treviso and Belluno starting from the ability of these territories to retain and attract quality resources, such as young talent, innovative businesses, efficient public and private services. This objective is combined with the desire to look at the social dimension of production  in terms of good employment, opportunities for personal and sustainable development, quality of life, inclusion and equity. It is therefore a matter of conceiving social innovation on the same level of technological and productive innovation as one of the possible drivers of local development in inland areas. The research is divided into two phases: the first will be dedicated to identifying critical situations and mapping the skills and resources of the area, while the second will address the definition of a strategy for the revitalization of local development.
