Strategy Innovation Hub

SIH Hub

A bridge at the center of an ideal crossroads between land, water, solid and liquid dimensions, Strategy Innovation Hub helps enterprises transform the paradox between stability and change. Stability refers to the metaphor of the earth, its concreteness, its solidity. Looking to the past, attention focuses on the present, aiming at the enhancement of what already exists. The basic semantic coordinates are tradition, continuity and security. Change, on the other hand, refers back to the metaphor of water, its continuous flow, and its ability to take on ever-changing forms. It looks at the present with an eye to the future, giving greater relevance to the project. The key semantic coordinates are innovation, discontinuity and risk.

Moving from the dimension of stability to that of change, the individual is brought into the system and the idea of the unique is extended to that of the universal.

The key word will no longer be just to compete but also collaborate: the two antithetical visions thus find a synthesis.

Areas of Expertise

Strategy Innovation Hub, established at Fondazione Università Ca’ Foscari, aims to be a point of reference for research and knowledge interchange on strategic innovation issues for local businesses and communities, at regional and national levels. The Center's research activity, developed in three main macro-areas (cross-cultural, sustainability and digital first), is articulated in periodic initiatives for the dissemination and critical discussion of scientific research results.

Activities and Services

The SIH Center focuses its activities in the following areas:

  • annual organization of a major dissemination event (Strategy Innovation Forum) , bi-monthly organization dissemination events (Strategy Innovation Workshop also in the webinar mode)
  • dissemination of research results through the creation of reports on specific areas of strategy innovation;
  • development of ad hoc knowledge and technology transfer services for specific identified clients.
