Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 ("Regulation") and Legislative Decree 196/2003 ("Privacy Code"), Fondazione Università Ca’ Foscari ("Fondazione"), provides you with information regarding the processing of personal data collected during the navigation of the website (https://fondazione.unive.it - “Website”), by cookies and/or other tracking tools present on the same.

The data controller of your data is Fondazione Università Ca’ Foscari, located at Dorsoduro 3246, 30123, Venice represented by its current Director General. Since 2010, the Fondazione has operated as an instrumental entity supporting the Ca’ Foscari University.

For the above purposes, individuals who perform outsourced operations on behalf of Fondazione may also process personal data in their capacity as Data Processors (such as, for example, IT service providers, communication agencies, etc.). Data subjects who believe that the processing of personal data relating to them carried out through this Website violates the provisions of the Regulation, have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data, as per Article 77 of the Regulation, or to take appropriate legal action (Article 79 of the Regulation).
There are social media buttons on the Website that are dedicated 'buttons' that depict social-network icons (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn). They allow users who are browsing the Website to 'click' and directly interact with the social-media platforms.
The social-media buttons used by the Website are links that redirect to the social-media accounts of the Data Subject. Thus, by clicking on these buttons, no third-party cookies are installed on the Website. However, links are provided where the user can view the privacy policy regarding data management by the socials to which the buttons refer.
As a supplement to the Information on processing the personal data of the Website users, made pursuant to Article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, the Fondazione informs users who access its institutional pages in social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) that the Fondazione processes, in an anonymous and aggregated form, statistical data made available by the providers of the above mentioned platforms in their capacity as Joint Data Controllers with these platforms, in accordance with the provisions of ruling C-210/16 of 5 June 2018 of the European Union Court of Justice.
In addition, the Fondazione processes personal data provided by users through the pages of its social-media platforms as part of its institutional purposes solely to manage interactions with users (comments, public posts, etc.).
